Tarzan Kit – Shield NOT Included Tarzan Kit – Shield NOT Included 1 1/2″ Wide Nylon Webbing Strap for a low cost DIY back shield upgrade to any shield.   Tarzan Strap Installation Instructions Take the cover off your shield Use a yardstick or something long and straight to mark two opposing lines, each about 3″ to the edge Use a knife to slice a cut in the shield just as wide as your strap Reinforce around the cut with 4 strips of tape, on both sides of the shield Feed your strap through with something flat, maybe a ruler. Leave the open tail ends on the strap on the inside of the shield Feed them through your buckle Put the fabric shield cover back Done!
