Description WW2 American M3 fighting knife and scabbard in fair used condition. The fighting knife is the second pattern example with the maker details on the blade c1943. It is marked US M3 Case on the blade which has age related wear with a sharpened edge. The blade is the full length . The cross guard does have some play due to shrinkage with the leather handle. I cannot see a flaming grenade on the pommel end due to age related colour. The USM8 scabbard is maker marked B.M Co and has the webbing belt loop and shows age related colour. It is complete with its retaining strap in place and the popper in working condition and also has its leather lanyard in place. A fine example that is in its original used condition.
