Description American P17 Remington bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for Remington with the date 1917 above the Remington trade mark. It has the flaming grenade with a issue date of 1923. The bayonet shows minor age related wear with the pommel and cross guard still retaining its blued finish with age related colour. The blade of the bayonet is in very good clean original condition with its factory finish still intact and showing very minor age related colour. The bayonet retains its original wooden grips. The leather scabbard is in good used condition with the metal fittings tight to the scabbard. It shows age related wear and is complete with no damage.
