Description WW1 1907 bayonet and scabbard in good used condition. The bayonet is maker marked for J Chapman with the issue date of February 1917 below the Kings crown. It has the war department arrow with the bend test mark and inspection stamps. The bayonet has multiple re-issue stampings. The pommel and cross guard show age related colour. The full length blade of the bayonet is bright in good clean condition. It retains its original wooden grips. The leather scabbard is in good used condition and comes with a tear drop frog stud. The scabbard has a 37 ptn webbing frog in place with the markings to faint to see clearly but early issue. The scabbard has supple leather and with its metal fittings tight to the leather and showing age related colour. Please see the photographs for further condition details. UK SALES ONLY.
