This is a Relic condition French Beehive fuze , used with the French 75mm shrapnel shell. It is still attached to the front portion of the shell that was designed to be blown off by the detonating charge. This front part of the shell is wholly intact (NB: the fuze is seized in the shell). This will make a very nice desk ornament or paperweight. Completely inert item. Size 4 inches tall
