From the Halo’s bespoke design suitable for any camera body to the Create Baseplate’s multi-standard dovetail channel, the Halo Advanced Kit offers end-to-end compatibility for seamless shooting. A Lifetime of Compatibility With the Halo Universal Camera Cage, any camera can be set up for rigging in moments. The Halo forms a square around the camera body, striking a balance between clearance for large cameras and a compact form factor. You can use any camera (though smaller cameras may need to be elevated with our quick-release Riser that can be found in the Universal Base Kit for Small Cameras). Dovetail Design Complete the cage with our Universal Dovetail, which mounts via the included 15mm LWS Rod Bracket to form a base for any camera. The Dovetail is the only one of its kind to have dual compatibility with Manfrotto tripods and DJI gimbals, allowing you to seamlessly transition from mount to mount. Get Creative The Advanced Kit also features our Create Baseplate: the perfect mounting point for your setup. With 1/4″ and 3/8” screw threads in the base and a multi-standard dovetail receiver on top, the Baseplate perfectly complements the Universal Dovetail for easy static mounting. The upper and lower dovetail channels make the Baseplate compatible with Arca, DJI and Manfrotto dovetail plates; further expanding the definition of “Universal”. Clean Rigging Wrapping around your camera body, the Halo offers a huge range of accessory mounting points for you to use. Along with industry-standard screw threads (1/4” and 3/8”), the Halo also offers MAP and QD sockets, a cold shoe mount and NATO rails. Able to take up to 10kg of load without flexing, you have huge scope for accessorising your rig. Convenient Carrying For handheld shooting, the Halo Advanced Kit comes with a low-profile Short Create Top Handle which mounts to the top of the cage via the integrated NATO rail. The handle has a small mechanism that clicks into place when exactly centred, optimising the balance for transporting the camera.
